Situation

The island of Altis has enjoyed relative stability under the protection of the Hellenic Armed Forces. However, recent investigations conducted by the Hellenic Police Internal Affairs Division, in cooperation with national prosecutors, have uncovered substantial evidence implicating Colonel Akhanteros, commanding officer of the 1st Regiment "Phalanx", in an extensive corruption scandal and illegal arms trafficking network. Financial records, intercepted communications, and testimony from military personnel suggest Colonel Akhanteros has abused his authority to divert military equipment and facilitate the sale of restricted weapons to organized criminal groups operating both on Altis and the Greek mainland. The investigation has resulted in a judicially authorized arrest warrant for the Colonel. Despite being formally relieved of his command pending arrest, Colonel Akhanteros has refused to surrender. Intelligence indicates he remains inside his heavily guarded estate, accompanied by a number of loyal military personnel and private security contractors. Due to the sensitive nature of the case and the possibility that evidence may be destroyed if conventional military forces are alerted, the Hellenic Police has been tasked with executing the warrant. The operation carries significant political implications. Colonel Akhanteros must stand trial before a civilian court, making his capture alive the highest priority. Despite being relieved of command many of his officers and soldiers may still be considered loyal.

Mission

The Hellenic Police Tactical Response Unit will: Execute the arrest warrant for Colonel Akhanteros. Arrest the Colonel alive. Secure and preserve all documents, electronic devices, financial records, and other evidence relating to the corruption and arms trafficking investigation. Detain any individuals actively resisting or involved in criminal activity.

Rules of Engagement

Colonel Akhanteros is to be captured alive whenever possible.
Use lethal force only against individuals presenting an immediate threat.
Preserve evidence whenever practical.
Military personnel who surrender are to be detained and treated in accordance with Greek law.
